Thank you, thank you, thank you! It was so fun to be the Cookie Drive Coordinator this year because there was a wonderful and enthusiastic support for this event from everyone at Seymour Johnson AFB and many Goldsboro community members! Many people donated cookies--we had at least 700 dozen cookies donated, perhaps even closer to 800 or 900 dozen! We had more than 35 volunteers package cookies on December 10, and they did a wonderful job! Many schools and other groups donated beautiful handmade cards which we tied to the cookie boxes with ribbon! The First Sergeants Council delivered the cookies to the 590 airmen who live in the dorms on December 11! The base Chapel delivered the extra cookies to various shops around the base on December 11! The airmen were very excited to receive their cookies! Thank you to everyone who made this cookie drive an encouraging and successful project!
